Elastomer Flat Metal Gaskets
Elastomer flat metal gaskets are seals typically used in applications where temperature and pressures rule out the use of rubber or plain elastomer rubber gaskets materials. In addition, elastomer flat metal gaskets serve to fill irregularities between two machines surfaces when under compression. In general, gasket compression loads need to be high to deform the gasket, and the metal used for the gasket should be softer than the metal in the mating surface. Some common uses for elastomer flat metal gaskets are for automotive engine sealing applications (i.e. oil pan gaskets or engine valve manifolds).
ENA Advanced Rubber Technologies has over 31 years experience manufacturing elastomer flat metal gasket for the OEM marketplace and automotive aftermarket, and we have developed unsurpassed knowledge in the design and production of these products. As one of the leading rubber molders in Asia, our in-house capabilities for producing our own metal stamped and fabricated parts, and our expertise in bonded rubber-to-metal processes, ENA can produce a broad range of high quality elastomer flat metal gaskets to meet your demanding application. In addition to elastomer flat metal gaskets, ENA has technologies to produce very complex elastomer flat gaskets that are bonded to plastics with mounting inserts and many other secondary operations and features.
Being a custom molder of complex, hard-to-produce rubber parts, ENA excels in the design and production of elastomer flat metal gaskets. We are very price competitive with these type parts, we are highly proficient in the manufacturing processes, and we know the markets and applications very well.
